Forsakeneys: I can see that chain of though slightly but when this trailer in question has a "zombie" that is looks quite different to regular zombies and there is zero details about them and the mechanics of the game then I dont t see the rational.
Might be nice to see what the game would actually look like, that target render that doesn't really tell us much more than the fact it's a post apocalyptic game, with plants Enslaved style.
I highly doubt they could pull of a survival horror, looks more Left 4 Dead.

As always they show PC @ 2560x1600 bullshots, butthat doesn't mean it won't look gorgeous in the actual console, its Naughty Dog lol...
I love how hyped people are getting over pre-rendered cinamatics. Lets see some actual gameplay footage because for all we know it could just be another Dead Island
Best game at the VGAs easily. Naughty Dog is finally putting that cinematic power to use with a game that might benefit more so from it. The trailer was just gorgeous and has a different feel from Uncharted. Can't wait for it, release date please.

@Stop Spoilers: I read details about the game's enemies, so yeah, I'm giving my two cents. I'm criticizing the game because it's typical post-apocalyptic setting and zombies. I'm not saying it won't be a great game, but that I tired these cliched settings and enemies.
Major The Road vibe going here. Also she girl seems like Ellen page and the guy is like old Drake. Looks like they took some cues from the dead island trailer also. Like I said this smells of the road to me but with lots of colors

The zombies look fucking amazing, but the overall tone isn't dark enough for me. I want to be scared shitless like in The Road and 28 Days Later. Bleak should be the slogan of realism-based zombie games. There's nothing casual about killing motherfuckers like that, while fighting off desperate humans who want your supplies or want to eat you.
I admire the hard work Naughty Dog puts into this, but I've got better things to play.

Under.... Whelmed.... Pass!! So fucking sick and tired of "zombie" shit! All I get from this is "I Am Alive" with some bio-hazardous antagonists. Except humans surviving and screwing humans is far more interesting then this. In my humble opinion.
After watching a trailer I'm still not very sure about this game. It looks good but really didn't made me hyped.

Wow Sony bringing another new IP this late in the consolelifecycle...nothing but respect for that!
I would like to say I hope it is more about survival then having to keep killing zombies...Maybe having to gather food and drink while trying to find shelter every night as you work to solve the bigger mystery.
However it is Naughty Dog so even if it is the other thing I will likely buy it!

I love horror games but no seems to be able to make them horror games anymore. Judging from the trailer and my experirnce with Naughty Dogs games this game will most likely become an action game. Oh well, back to waiting for Silent Hill 8.

but after watching it again today it seems it upped my interest quite a bit. plus the girl look like a mini Elena :P

Like Obagelista and Quantumriian said, lots of The Road vibe. Plus The Walking Dead. Which is good. To all saying that's just another "zombie shooter", I'd just say that if a story is solid and interesting enough, there's no problem with the (apparent) lack of originality. We're talkin' about Naughty Dog here, so everyone who's thinking about a game world with a lot of smooth interaction and easy transitioning from firing and / or adventuring sections should be reassured. If this is all stringed together with a good and emotional script to move the game forward (and Uncharted 3 has given interesting hints of Naughty Dog taking at dark and ambiguous storytelling) we can easily have a real winner here.
Also, Ellen Page. Can't wait to see how the "young and old working together" a la The Road works out.

Was this their game that they said we "wouldn't believe"? Wow, I'm so shocked that someone is making a game where you kill zombies with guns. That's unbelievable.
I'm still waiting for a narrative-heavy open-world zombie game with equal parts of focus on melee, shooting, stealth. Really hoping this game is that game, ND has been known as the fulfiller of my dreams.

wish everyone would shut the Hell up! It's not the idea that makes a game good, It's the execution of the idea. and personally, I don't think anyone has done this genre quite right yet. I'm hoping nd will. and if It's anything like uncharted, its main focus will be character development and the story behind them. the survival horror is just a catalyst for this development. the situation they are in will be what makes these character interact with another in the way that they do.
This looks so promising I cannot even stand it. It looks to be everything I've ever wanted from Enslaved, Uncharted, and Survival Horror in general. Also, you gotta love Ellen Page, even if it is merely a look-a-like (which I'm hoping it's not). Also, while obviously signs point to that being Nolan North voicing the man, I thought he sounded more like Troy Baker, but I could be wrong
@pedrovay2003 Of course they don't matter. Do you cream yourself over an album because the album artwork looks good? Cutscenes can enhance a game but if you haven't seen the game then they're completely pointless as they indicate nothing about he product but the most basic of information.
