The Killers track pack coming to Guitar Hero World Tour photo

Hey, wow, a blurry picture! I know .. I was kind of ashamed to have to use it, but if you peer at the screen with a magnifying glass while squinting and clicking your heels together three times, you will see that it's an ad for a new track pack coming November 19th featuring three songs from The Killers: "Mr. Brightside," "Losing Touch" and "Human." The latter two tracks are from their latest album, Day & Age, while the first is from their first album, Hot Fuss.

While I hadn't planned to buy Guitar Hero World Tour, I feel some sort of weird catharsis from this announcement. I think it's probably because of how many times I've stumbled through "When You Were Young" while playing Rock Band and wished I was playing a Killers song that I actually, you know, liked.

I'm glad you think so. I, on the other hand, fucking hate it. HATE.

Everything they've released since Hot Fuss has been pretty abysmal (except When You Were Young which is actually a very well written song in which Brendon's voice doesn't attempt to do more than it's capable of...he has a TERRIBLE voice)...So playing Mr. Brightside will be fun.
Those other tracks can go screw.

So it's The Killers for GHWT vs. The Beatles for RB? Hmmmmmm!

Guitar Hero: trying to balance catching up to Rock Band and whoring itself out to the Walmart crowd.

Aww....I LOVE The Killers, like, unnaturally so, so I'm A) Sad this is for GHWT and B) Doesn't feature more tracks from the amazing Sam's Town....Day and Age is going to be awesome...

Throw in "All These Things I've Done" and consider me sold.

Haha, I actually really dig playing that song in both GH III and Rock Band. Different strokes I suppose...

I have to agree with JO3, When You were Young is an incredible song. I'd rather see All These Things that I've Done than Mr. Brightside though, I HATE that song after how much it was played. I haven't heard the new singles yet, but I hope they're good. After Sawdust I'm a little leery about anything new.

When You Were Young is the worst song in the history of everything. I switched to cds for a month when it came on the radio, and played GH and RB muted for it.

The songs are okay, I like listening to a few of them, HOWEVER, they are ridiculously easy to play on Guitar Hero. When You Were Young was one of the first songs I FC'd in GH3 on Expert. I don't expect Mr. Brightside to be much more challenging either.

So overall, "meh." Don't hate this announcement, but I'm not going to buy this pack anytime soon either.
