As a Destructoid regular, it's still hard to believe that these games aren't going to do as well as I think they should, all doing really well in everything they need to but still getting passed over in favour of more mainstream titles.
You are doing the world good with your godly presence Jim, and this is even goldier. Divine, even.

wow... honestly, that was awesome.
Can i make a suggestion? You should do this more often. I know your thing seems to be more satire, but this was fantastic. Do like a monthly one of these, but not under the jimquisition line, because.. holy fuck. Color me impressed Jim.

I second the solatorobo looks good comment. I hope best buy carries it, my fiancé hasn't mentioned seeing it yet or if they are taking preorders.
:/
:/
You should all really pay attention also to Solatorobo too ! I really wan this game to succeed (reason n°3 for me now working as a writer, and when it came out in Europe, it was one of the best games of the Summer Hollidays that flew under most of people's radar (except the French Press that LOOOOOOOVED it to death (myself included))
I hope this becomes a regular thing during the seasons when games get a lot of high profile releases.
A compliment from Free Touch should be framed.
But seriously, the scope and style of the show has been varying a lot lately. I'm trying to really make it do different things. Last week's was a more earnest, analytic piece, the one before that was more ranty, and the one before was straight comedy.
Glad you dug this one. I say give some others a chance, too. It won over the majority of Escapist users. Could make a fan of you too. :-)

Prayer sent to Jeebus for Jim Sterling because of...VIDEOGAEMZ!@!#$!
Well done segment Mr. Sterling, can't wait to get Aliens.

I just want to say, the sprites in Aliens Infestation are gorgeous. Makes me wish I owned a DS to play it on.
Awesome episode as ever, Jim.

@Jim.
I will give them a look over.
And if I knew it was going to be framed.. I probably would have said "fuck" a lot less.

Another entertaining episode, as usual, Mr. Sterling. Kirby and Serious Sam are looking like some real fun.
Though, my only criticism, if one could call it that, is that I would add the admonition that not all of us theists are the theocrats that you mention and have issues with.

Destructoid, in general, has helped me delve into lesser known games. I would have never bought Catherine or Bit.Trip or Super Meat Boy without you guys.
Wow, I was expecting to know about all of them but I had no clue about Scivelation (that IS a silly name). Thanks Jim! You should totally do this more often.

I'd have hoped that would be implicit in my wording. When I say theocrat, I do mean to distinguish them from reasonable religious people who I freely admit exist, despite my not being able to understand where they're coming from.

God that first line had me laughing.
But anything that isn't called Forza 4 on October eleventh can suck my underwhelming seed off a pile of m&m's and spit it in to a dogs mouth.
I needs me that Forza.

Aha, now I see. I must have missed what you meant and for that, I apologize. Because while your razor sharp wit does cut the silly people down a notch, I never felt that your commentary was ever malicious at all and it seems like it was an error on my part.
Carry on, Mr. Sterling and I'll be sure to thank God that you're here. :)

Scivelation... Ukrainian game from the guys who did... erm... Stalin vs. Martians... I have... some... doubts about it. I am hopeful, though. Ukrainian devs always have so much good potential. Hope, they will do good this time
ill keep my eyes out for these games. tha alien one looks interesting. i need more games for my ds and that kurby game looks fun! :D hope to see more of these videos in the future! so i can keep my eye out for them. i kinda wish i would of known about shadows of the damned. i rented it and regret not buying it.. soo amazing. ill buy it one day.
I wanna get Aliens but... Ugh, I hate those movies so much. Also don't like Metroid, so I don't know why I'm interested in the first place.
What a hot batch. I had no idea about that first game, with the Templars. Would rent just based on that preview.
Thanks for the heads up on the Aliens game! Looks awesome, and it looks like it's by Wayforward too, which is almost a guarantee that it'll be solid. Can't wait to give my DS some loving with that and Kirby :D
Scivelation has me very interested now, liking the ideas of it though you only have to say "stealth game" to sell me on it! Though, no Red Orchestra 2? (Speaking of which, is there going to be a Dtoid review for that?)
Why haven't I heard of Scivelation? Sounds great, I like games that tackle delicate subject matter, my stance on said matter? who cares, it just sounds intriguing enough.
As for aliens, it's been on my radar for some time now, Max one time talked about it in the Dtoid show and it caught my attention. Overall you should do this more often Jim.

I'll keep an eye out on The Cursed Crusade, I'm a big ass fan of Dante's Inferno (both the story and the game).
I must say that the irony of an atheist asking his fan base to "thank God for me" never fails to amuse me.
Rayman Origins needs more love.
It looks great, but I get the feeling it will fall under the radar for most.

I don't know about Scivelation. It sounded interesting when Jim talked about it, but looking up the premise, it really doesn't look like that great of writing. I'll probably give it a try, but I'm a little hesitant to support TopWare. I'm not saying that all those accusations against them were true, or that any of them were, but I'm not ruling them out, either. Sure they're not developing Scivelation, but they're publishing it. It does seem interesting, so what the hay?
Personally, I'm impressed that they got Arnold Schwarzenegger to do the narration for the trailer.
