The HAWPcast: Tarantino and Zombies photo

Yeah, it's called the HAWPcast now. "Hey Ash, Whatcha Podcastin'" is so three-to-six weeks ago.

In this episode, Ash and I talk about nonlinear plot and characterization in videogames (the dialogue in Left 4 Dead, for instance), the death of the "hangout movie," and, subsequently, Quentin Tarantino's entire filmography.

There's a bit at the very end of the podcast where I yell "wait" before getting cut off by Ashly's cruelly indifferent decision to hang up the phone, but don't worry about that: I was just going to say that instead of typing in an awkward CreateSpace URL to get to the sexy Hey Ash, Whatcha Playin' Season One DVD, you can now tell your friends/loved ones/mortal enemies/acquaintances to go to http://heyash.com/dvd instead.

Also, the HAWPcast is now on iTunes. Which is cool.

I love how ash says "oh, I'm so sorryyyyy" it's just so unlike what she's like in HAWP and I can actually imagine her exact facial expression and how it contorts as she says it, puppy dog eyes coming close to tears, then ending with a giggle. She just says it so expressively.

no offense but why does this pod cast exist? Why not just have ash join the official destructoid pod cast. i am aware its probably only for the editors, but im sure you would have no trouble squeezing you sis into the cast without it hurting anything.

Podtoid's got a pretty good rapport and adding Ash to that would probably fuck things up. That, and she's not as up on day-to-day news as the editors. This podcast is way more freeform and conversational, and mainly for HAWP fans (and to be honest I was only gonna post about it in the cblogs but Niero thought it was worth frontpaging, so I do).

Also, it is available on Zune marketplace under the title "the Hey Ash, Watcha Podcast" [sic], for those who roll that way.

Excellent episode. My suggestion for Rev. Anthony's Holloween costume: Ahmadenejad. And Ashly as Grand Ayatollah Khamenei. Just walk around people's neighborhoods talking about nuclear weapons.

So you recommended critter crunch in one of your podcasts so I thought I respect Burch opinion and it was a fun play through but it has fallen into the realm of entering with regular day life, let me explain. I'm a on call custodian for a bunch of school in my area so always on the road at different school and while spending one of my eventful days in traffic I kept comparing the bikes car and trucks to the different critters that my bigg has to eat and traffic would free up only if that car would eat 2 bikes and blow out the entire row in front of me. So Fuck it is an amazing game that borders on a bit of addiction. Just wanted to let you know what critter crunch has done to me, keep up the work and looking forward to your response or perhaps a reply on poptoid or HAWPcast
