(No, codes don't go toward these promos Microsoft do.)
LOL iSHIT! LOL I GOT YOU BRO NICE ONE!
LOL ALSO COMPARING AN ONLINE FIGHTING GAME TO A SINGLE PLAYER ACTION TITLE? LOL BRO I BUTTER U UP U ON A ROLL!
what the hell did both of you smoked?
Gunstringer got amazing previews and praise from people who tried it out during E3(apparently game is even better than Child of Eden in terms of controls).
considering the price and all the bonuses it's day one for me. that's how you do "an online pass" - you give free stuff, not dumb down your game.
Also, won't this reduce sales of Fruit Ninja Kinect?
what?
this is clearly just an incentive to not buy second hand now that it's gone retail. looks to me like there will be a lot of second hand copies of this available too, just like most kinect games...
> You have a Kinect, you buy all the SOA games including Fruit Ninja: Why would you buy Gunstringer and essentially buy FN again? Waits for sale/discount.
> You have a Kinect, you buy simply FN for your casual party device because you haven't had anything new for a while: Why would you buy Gunstringer and essentially buy FN again? Waits for sale/discount.
> You have a Kinect, didn't get Fruit Ninja on release. You'd maybe buy Gunstringer, but given you didn't even know Fruit Ninja was already available you may not even use your Kinect enough to care.
> You have a Kinect but don't buy Fruit Ninja on release because you hear about this deal and realize there is no point. You butcher the release sales numbers, the Fruit Ninja guys make less money and by the time you get a copy of Fruit Ninja everyone would have played it at a party and has already moved onto Dance Central 2 or something.
I just don't get this at all, and I'm not fixing my bad grammar and sentence structure before hitting 'add comment', sorry.
The ONLY thing I can come up with is that MS Studios is publishing FN so I'd assume the devs got paid a nice chunk for making it free with another title.
Same way that chAIR probably got a nice check when MS gave out Undertow.
Wow, that makes a ton of sense but if that's the case, it really does throw into question the value of Gunstringer even within the devs eyes. Too bad, I'm a recent Kinect convert but now I have to wait for Gunstringer to go on sale/discount because otherwise it'll feel like I'm overpaying (I plan on buying all of the SOA games).
i didn't seen you guys screaming rip-off when sony realeased their Move retail titles or games like LBP2(which only added tweaks to level editor since all singleplayer levels on a disc were made by community itself during special contest and not Media Molecule).
