The Grinder and Gladiator AD could hit other consoles photo

Some critics suppose High Voltage Software’s mature titles belong other platforms. A peek at the Wii’s worldwide total sales chart seemingly confirms the thought: Madworld and Call of Duty: World at War remain below High School Musical Sing it! and Link’s Crossbow Training. It’s the reality of the Wii’s base.

While we don’t see The Conduit making the platform jump anytime soon, it’s possible that High Voltage Software could tap other platforms with The Grinder and Gladiator AD. Speaking with us at Electronic Entertainment Expo 2009, High Voltage’s Dave Pellas said his studio has the dedication to bring the two titles to another platform. It’s just a matter of obtaining the cash to do it.

“We can do anything,” Pellas said. “We’ve got some very, very talented guys. And it just takes time. And dedication.”

“We have the dedication,” he continued. It would just be, ‘yes, here’s lots of money. Go make this for the PS3.’ [And we would say] ‘Thank you publisher, we will.’”

If The Grinder made the jump to PlayStation 3, single console owners would finally be able to get their hands on a proper cooperative shooter with zombies ... and werewolves. Eat that, Xbox 360.

Natural progression, with 360 and PS3 motion controls on the way. And why not, High Voltage have some good product here, so the chance to play HD versions would be nice.

i can see links crossbow training getting more sales , because people get a free piece of plastic with it :)

but madworld selling less then high school musical is pretty fail.

well eventually a lot of software goes multi console after a while so it isnt a shocker.

Funny thought, i think that would also benefit the Wii's version of games since they'd also have to develop thinking about X360's and PS3's audience hence preventing the 'dumbing down for casuals' problem that some Wii games seem to suffer from a lot.

Get Gladiator AD and The Conduit (my biggest E3 disappointment) the fuck off my 360 and PS3.

The Grinder (the poor man's L4D: but don't quote me) could be decent. Girl gimme 'dat.

Maybe L4D whiners can purchase GRINDERS on 360 just to show that they won't be playing and buying L4D 2.

As for me ,i'll buy both if it ever comes out to 360.

I don't know why people think MadWorld is so great. I thought MadWorld sucked balls. MadWorld is like an attempt to combine the action of X-Men Origins: Wolverine with the humor of The Simpsons Game, and what you end up with is the best of neither.

The controls are tolerable but not good, the levels are boring and repetitive, and the story of the game seems like it was ripped off from that Stone Cold Steve Austin movie. I have no idea why people think MadWorld should have made more money than it did. The game is bad.

Hopefully games like Gladiator AD will be better.

Personally I think Sony should invest some money in the devs who did Killing Floor (Its on steam if you dont know what Im talking about). Have them make a KF game for PS3, its a 6 player co-op zombie shooter. It sounds awesome.

I didn't get madworld or call of duty- why? if I want to play a real game I want to do it on my ps3, I don't think of my wii first- I may get them one day but it doesn't occur to me when I think about getting a game and by the time I think of it I don't want to waggle

would be cool if Sony could get some of the better Wii games and put them on PSN as downloadable games. Sure they would be big but I would def. be interested in a few of them. Would like to check out deadly creatures, and give Mad World a go but I'm not paying $200 for what basically amounts to the video game console version of tickle me elmo.

love how it's going to PS3. Unless they really delay the game, the motion controller wont be going with it at the time of release. Sony likes to bait and tease; we might not see that peripheral for another 16 months. On the other hand, Sony might surprise us.

You guys are all hypocrites, you bash Nintendo and all of it's games, and then you say you want them when there is a chance you might get them, pathetic.
