When I was eight years old, we got our first PC. The operating system was Windows for Workgroups (Before '95), and It came with a huge case of free PC games. King's Quest V was one of them, along with...I dunno, was it Space Quest?
Anyways, I sucked at it. I'd walk around aimlessly until a wizard killer me. Never played again after that. I wish I could participate in this quiz, and it makes me sad that I cannot.

(sorry to ignore the quiz, but i only know the first few, and mentions of King's Quest trigger nostalgic rants) I played this (and the other early ones) when the collector's edition came out, and even with King's Quest V and VI on hand, these text-based ones were still great.
Still, my favorite of the series was VII, by a long shot. Space Quest VI, was also amazing.
Since I'm way off topic, but still thinking point-and-click Sierra games, did anyone play Torin's Passage?

I'd do pretty well on a Perils of Rosella or Heir Today, Gone Tomorrow Retro Quiz though. MAN I loved those games. Best memories ever.

When you guys were answering the question about your first PC game memories on RetroforceGo this week, mine was King's Quest. I played games before that, but I learned to spell playing KQ. I consider KQ to be the game that started my entire life of video game playing.

I second GEN ERIC GUI on 18. There is a fairy godmother that appears randomly. But he is only partially correct on 14.
