The Great Retro Quiz! .18: ActRaiser photo

I think it is about time to test your (so far very impressive) retro knowledge on something a little less “mainstream” than Super Mario Bros. or The Legend of Zelda. After considering many different games, I decided the awesome ActRaiser for the Super Nintendo was the perfect candidate. The game has a cult following, but is random enough to offer a pretty significant trivia challenge (even to the people that have played it).

It also helps that I absolutely adore the game. So if you do really well on this quiz you are officially the coolest person that ever lived (and my new best friend).

One of the most nostalgia inducing games of my youth! I remember playing this over and over trying to get the max population in each town, find all the items, and I loved every second of it! Time to bust out the SNES again...

=( This probably deserves another soft kitten hug face punch, but I've never played ActRaiser. The only experience I have with it is watching thirty seconds of it on Nick Arcade back in the day.

I don't think I can call myself the Dolphin King, but I love ActRaiser... It's one of the best games I've played, and has one of the best endings I've ever experienced gaming.

I really want to try this, but it's been years since I've played this game. I'm definitely picking it up with my new SNES next week though, so I'll do good on TGRQ: Actraiser 2.0.
