The Great Retro Quiz! .02: The Virtual Console (SNES) photo

Hello, ladies and gentlemen, welcome to another edition of The Great Retro Quiz! You can’t see me right now, but I am dressed like a game show host and have a very pretty lady standing next to me gesturing towards the computer monitor as if it was a shiny new car or fancy dishwasher. I am trying to set the mood.

As with last week, this quiz is all about games available on the Wii’s Virtual Console. But instead of the NES, we are moving forward in time to focus on my personal BEST CONSOLE EVER!, the Super Nintendo Entertainment System.

This one is a little harder than last week, but, again, the more you have downloaded the better chance you have to win (and by “win” I mean “do well and feel good about yourself,” since I have no prizes available yet – be patient, though)! Like before, you can check my community blog tomorrow (9/20) for the answers to see how you did.

Actually, I went back and checked, and be careful about question #9. Two of those answers are correct. One is just accessible earlier in the game than the other.

Interesting. So I assume you mean that another character can give it to you later in the game? I guess that does make sense, it just has never happened to me before.

Couple tricky ones in there that I don't recall. Contra and Actraiser being two of them. The Castlevania one is rather easy for me, I can see it quite clearly. :)
