But Ayane looks good. Dare I say, if it all runs at a smooth 60FPS (and at DOA's trademark blinding speed), this could well be the best-looking fighting game to date.

To be fair, judging from these early screenshots it looks like they've toned the ginormous mammaries down a hell of a lot. That being said, these are two of the younger girls out of the cast. It's looking good so far but I think I'll wait til I see shots of Tina or Christie before I decide I can be seen playing this in front of other people.

Is it just me or do their faces have *gasp* some character to them now? Not quite as "real-doll" looking as they once were. And also, they're fully clothed.

I... I don't get it. Their faces look a bit human now, and not like porcelain dolls... their breast sizes look practically reasonable... they're even wearing clothes...

Hitomi is in many ways the perfect girl; sweet, cute, and deliciously sexy. At long last Team Ninja have improved the character models after years of using DOA2's visual aesthetic. In DOA2 it made sense because that was the limitations of the hardware at the time and the "doll" look worked int aht graphics engine.
Hoping Hitomi has her denim jacket and jeans, and also hoping that with the costumes they opt for being imaginative rather than lazily salacious. A Virtua Fighter 5 style customization system would be brilliant.
