I've heard that XCOM has changed significantly since that FPS preview we got a while back, which is a shame cause I really liked the whole 50's scifi black goop monster thing that had going for it.

I'm also not particularly thrilled by Skyward Sword, but mostly because I think the visuals are a really ugly compromise between Windwaker and OOT. The Moblins are grotesque. In Windwaker sure they were ugly, but in a cool way. In Skyward Sword I don't even want to look at them. That, and the environments I've seen so far are really empty. Gameplay wise I'm sure it'll be fine, though.
