I think for DDR fans this will be a hoot. For everyone else, it will be like a religious puppet show that comes on local access at 2 am: a curiosity and not much more.

Me and a few SF Dtoiders went to see this in SF together. It was just as awesome as you think it is!
Even with the official-looking green band thing at the beginning, I didn't believe this was real until I Googled it.

I really hope people aren't expecting this movie to be serious. It's officially a -comedy- and is playing in to the idea of "How silly would it be if we combined The Warriors with DDR and then made everything DEADLY SERIOUS"
I, for one, am looking forward to the silly nonsense that The FP is surely to bring. Also, it's involving the guys who did the cinematography for Crank 2, so...yeah....I'm going to enjoy this.

My friend and I are both longtime DDR fans, and we're travelling to the effing ghetto to see this at the only theater that's showing it on opening day. This is a running joke he and I have made back and forth at each other for years, and it's so fucking awesome it's coming out just before I have to go off to college. Bonding experience FTW!
This is technically a movie based on a video game.. Possibly the best one yet? As long as Uwe Bowel Movement isn't involved.
