The first and last Portal craft of '08: Custom Companion Cube tissue box cover photo

Before I go any further, I promise one thing: We're done posting Portal-related crafts, cakes, modified toys, and the like. After this post. Really. We promise.

Reader Rattiemama sent us images of her custom Weighted Companion Cube tissue box cover, one of the most useful Portal crafts we've seen yet. Designed for a gamer friend who let her play Portal at his house, this one-of-a-kind tissue box holder even has some weight to it.

"The tissue box cover I used as a form for the thing was made of metal bars," she writes, "so the thing is actually weighted. Pretty awesome, even if I do say it myself."

We agree, it is pretty awesome. And it's the last Portal craft we're going to write about until Portal 2 comes out. Unless, of course, someone actually designs a working Aperture Science Handheld Portal Device. Then we'll be too busy having fun with our neighbors cat to bother posting on this silly little blog.

Cats falling forever seems funny to me for no good reason.

Necros.

It's because they keep trying to land on their feet...

...but they can't.

If I had that tissue box I wouldn't be able to stop crying and using tissues because of what I did to that poor WCC.

Wow, that's pretty smart. And in the meanwhile, there's always Rock, Paper--I mean Portal--, Shotgun for all my Portal needs.

Haha @ some Jerk. Brilliant.
