We finally have confirmation of all the songs that will be available for Rock Band once it's released November 20th. Well, the initial first 45 tracks -- there's still 12 locked tracks that haven't been revealed yet. EA sure knows how to tease us, don't they?
Downloadable songs will also be released each week after the release of the game. One thing that
Rock Band easily has over
Guitar Hero is that they're getting entire albums of songs. Granted, I don't know anyone who would like to play the entire Who's album, "Who's Next" or
18 tracks by the Grateful Dead.
Of the playable songs, the only one I'm really interested in playing is Beastie Boys "Sabotage". And by play, I mean have a seizure and hope for the best. Hit the jump for the list of songs.

Soundgarden should have been OUTSHINED, or Jesus Christ Pose, to scare the crap out of parents.
Also, there's a shit ton of amazing songs there. I've never delved into the guitar sim (is that what it's called?) genre before but I might have to take a look at Rock Band.

Each one of those songs either sucks, or has a MUCH better song from the artist. I suppose Metallica gets a pass if they are putting out albums though. But seriously, Black Hole Sun? With the songs Soundgarden has? GTFO.
