The final round of Drakengard 3 DLC is out right now

3:00 AM on 06.18.2014

The final batch of DLC has been released as of today, and you can pick it up and enjoy it "regardless of where you're at in the story," reports Sakura Minamida, Senior Product Manager of Square Enix.

The DLC contains additional costumes for Zero, music packs, hats, and even prologue chapters and new playable stages for several of the characters. For the Nier fans out there (I'm one of them!) you can even slip into Kainé's costume for stat boosts and overall awesomeness.

Drakengard 3 has only been out for a month now, and I've still yet to play it. All this talk of freaky sexual content and all that other weirdness has piqued my interest, however, and I'm ready to give it a go, despite having never picked up a Drakengard title before. It's the Japanese name that really gets me going, though: Drag-On Dragoon. Catchy. And what's up with this dragon with a baby's head? I need the deets on that, STAT.

Drakengard had multiple endings because it wasn't supposed to get a sequel

Watch Taro Yoko discuss Drakengard 3 as a sock puppet

Guys, Taro Yoko is adorable. At least, I think he is. I know he's not actually a cute little puppet, but this interview regarding Drakengard 3 is adorable and informative. This may be one of my favorite interviews yet, simpl...more

Review: Danganronpa 2: Goodbye Despair

Danganronpa: Trigger Happy Havoc was an intelligent riff on the perils of high school -- you know, if you had thrown a murder mystery in between classes and the principal was a maniacal stuffed animal. Its sequel, Danganronpa 2: Goodbye Despair, takes a beleaguered trope and turns it on its head. This is one "trapped on a desert island" story that takes things to another level entirely.more
