Resident Evil: The Darkside Chronicles is set to come out on November 17 and the final trailer promoting the game was released this week. The trailer shows off various cinematic scenes from Code: Veronica, Resident Evil 2 and the new campaign staring Leon Kennedy and Jack Krauser.
I'm a diehard Resident Evil nut and I'll happily play Darkside Chronicles even though I know it won't be that much fun. I just don't care much for on-rails shooting games. I mainly want to play this to learn about the new story and because I think Jack Krauser is one of the better villains to ever appear in a Resident Evil game.
Hamza Aziz, Destructoid's Community Director, has been here since day one. He was born when a tiger coughed up a hairball into a pool of ooze. Anyways, looks pretty awesome. I'm interested in seeing the Leon/Krauser storyline to get some more background on what went on before RE4. Maybe not sold on buying a copy quite yet, but I'm definitely going to rent it.
Wow... The gameplay in that already looks a ton better than Umbrella Chronicles, graphically. I really want to know what's up with Krauser, so I'll be grabbing this day one. Besides, money clip!
Okay, I'm sold. This is absolutely a must-play for me. And why the frig wouldn't you play an on rails shooter of Resident Evil, people? JUST TRY IT--I will. Seriously, it's not like this game doesn't belong in the series or anything.
