Time is just flying past me. Deadliest Warrior, the game based on a television program of same name, comes out this week on Xbox Live and I totally spaced on it happening. As if to remind me, these new screenshots featuring the eight playable characters just appeared out of nowhere.
I found myself pleasantly surprised by this game when I saw it at E3 last month. It's quick, brutal and looks to provide a good value. I'll probably be picking it up on Wednesday.
The only struggle now is in deciding what type of warrior I want to play. I think I'm leaning towards Spartan.

@Mortal Kombat: Not that I'm trying to sound ignorant or anything, but apparently, someone said on one of the Aftermath episodes (my guess is Max) that they actually do considerably more testing than is seen on the show. Since it's on Spike, and Spike is probably afraid of looking like a bunch of pansies that actually show something potentially not testosterone-fueled, they show the more entertaining tests that don't really mean much.
Anyways, I really want to see how this game turns out. It looks like it's got a lot of potential, and reaction (at least, from what I've seen) is surprisingly positive, it could still be garbage. I hope that's not the case.
