Check out this video of the first rehearsal of the C64 Orchestra. Based in the Netherlands, they went straight to the source, master C64 composers
Jeroen Tel and
Rob Hubbard to get permission for the arrangements. If we accept the
wikiality on Mr. Tel, it seems that he was 10 years old when the C64 was released in 1982 and 15 years old when he started composing for it.
The international premiere is tonight September 22 at de Gigant in Apeldoorn, Netherlands. You can check their
website for ticket information for a show that, if I calculate correctly, starts...in less than twenty minutes.
