The DTOID Show: THQ Bankruptcy, SimCity DRM & The War Z

10:10 PM on 12.19.2012

Hey guys, in spite of this being the second-to-last Destructoid Show of 2012, there's still news. And it's all crappy news. Gross!

Okay, so there was this big crapstorm over The War Z, and as a result, it's no longer available on Steam. THQ has filed for chapter 11 bankruptcy, which is crappy, but we all sort of saw it coming. SimCity, in addition to having always-on DRM, also seems to have cloud-only saving. So like, no offline saves. Am I understanding this correctly? Oh god.

Also, we announced the winner of our sexy fanart contest.

Dio in Skyrim: Part 3 - Don't "Taco" To Strangers

In the third part of our ongoing investigative series on what it would be like if heavy metal pioneer Ronnie James Dio was, in fact, a mage in The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim.
