Today, we talk about the new Saints Row The Third trailer, the Xbox dashboard's sexy new makeover, and Deus Ex stuff. For instance, Deus Ex: Human Revolution has shipped 2 million units, is on sale for 34.99 on Amazon, and is coming soon to Mac. Also, I'm starting fights with Reddit again. Sorry. For the second half of the show, we discuss Skyrim. Tara watched the twenty minute demo, with Todd Howard commentary, and has been converted. She now understands the fuss about the game. I field some of youze guyz's questions that we asked over Facebook and Twitter.
GamersGate has got a glut of offers on this weekend, reducing the Jagged Alliance games and the Men of War franchises by up to 75%. Also on GamersGate, Metro 2033 is cut down by 66% off its usual price. Over on GreenManG... You should already have seen that Black Ops II is free to play this weekend and 33% off to own, and the Bit.Trip games are reduced all week so it just leaves me to tell you that Trials Evolution: Gold Edition is 25% off this ... Back in the day before EA was getting voted the worst company in America, it was publishing pretty stellar PC games. Some of those games are reduced by 60% in GOG.com's weekend sale, including the Ultima, Dungeon Keeper and W... Along with cutting Brutal Legend to half price and taking 75% off the price of Defense Grid: The Awakening, Steam has a weekend promotion running on games from Rockstar. Each day will see a new franchise reduced, so right now... If you haven't played Portal 2 on PC, then you have no excuse -- none I tell you -- not to pick it up with a 75% price cut on Steam. Also on offer is Worms Revolution, which is free to play all weekend and half price to purch... I always wonder about what title to start these posts with, but this week there's no doubt Dishonored is my pick of the weekend deals. Arkane's stealth-action game was one of my favorites from last year and it's half price on... Weekend Deals is back after a two week break due to PAX East and a week's vacation in New York but the chances to save some cash on PC games never ends. The Dungeons and Dragons rulesets have resulted in some classic RPGs, so... If you have been cautiously eyeing the Neo Geo X Gold hardware, now may be a good time to give your money to Amazon. They currently have the limited edition package marked down by more than a third at $129.99.
I've just ... Ubisoft is throwing a big promotion this weekend on Steam, offering new daily deals every 24 hours. Right now, I Am Alive, Rayman Origins and From Dust are all reduced between 66-75% in price. Check back on Saturday and Sunda... If leaping through the air whilst shooting guns and sporting bad Hawaiian shirts and whiskey breath is your thing, then you owe it to yourself to pick up Max Payne 3 on Steam this weekend.
