Destructoid is gaming news, community, videos, and sometimes love. Take the tour or jump in with Facebook:

The story so far:

Jim Sterling bursts into the Sharkade and enlists the help of Hamza Aziz. Sterling explains that not only has the President has been kidnapped by ninjas, but that there is also a much greater threat afoot. Hamza, relishing the opportunity for some action, transforms into his alter ego ... Cybernetic Tiger Z! Together they head outside, to confront the problem.

This weeks winning comment was from Palidi:

Ahh, the last frame might conflict with my next idea, but I'll try anyhow:
Jim and Hamza dash outside to investigate the noise, and are confronted with the sight of the giant Destructor-toid approaching from the distance(in a pane something like the first scene of page one, but with the Destructor-toid seen on the visible side of the mountains). Jim mutters to himself that "That wasn't there before"
Hamza uses the zoom function built into his visor to get a closer view of the Destructor-toid, asking Jim if that's the extent of their problems ... (Full comment after the jump)
I did deviate a little from the the outline that was given, but this was just to organize it a little better on page. (You'd be surprised how little space I have to work with). The main points of the comment are there though.

THE RULES:
1. You have 24 hours from the time this blog was posted to suggest what happens next. After that, I'll choose the winning comment and the page will then be posted the following week.

2. Try to keep it relatively SFW.

3. You can only make a suggestion once per week.

4. Your suggestion has to fit on one page.

Where do they go from here? Hit the jump for the previous comics.

Palidi's entire suggestion:

"I think it may be a bother, but there is still a more pressing matter"

"Hmm?"

Jim lowers his shotgun and turns to Hamza.

"It appears that the situation is changing...and Neiro is still missing"

Hamza slings his hammer onto his shoulder as the shadow of the Destructor-toid is cast upon them. "Neiro, missing? Then who the hell is controlling that?"

Its Jack Thompson! And he's been ravaging cities across the globe in disguise of famous faces in videogame journalism. New York never saw Brian Crecente's hairy battlecruiser coming....

i say at the end of the day, chad concelmo is to blame for destructer-toid. nobody would see it coming. i mean, who would suspect chad of anything except loving dolphins and kicking little old ladies in the face?

The pilot/creator of the robot is Robert Summa, who stashed Niero in a warehouse full of "Hardcore" Wii games. Where nobody would ever find him

I think Luc Bernard should at least be a suspect. Tdiddy's idea sounds perfect though.

This is getting really good, btw.

YAY, He used my idea <3 X3.

I think your idea encapsulated everything I was going for though. You even managed to make the dialog feel more natural(to the whole scheme of things) than in my original posting. Amazing job as always.

I second Luc being a suspect. Perhaps not the mastermind, but someone with a grudge who gets questioned. He then uses his programmer as a human shield and escapes.

This couldn't possibly have started better. It's been great so far, keep on kicking ass dude. I'm seriously craving more!

Wherever it ends up going, I highly suggest it leading to Tokyo... and summoning Japanator to the rescue of Niero so he can return to his pilot spot of the Destructoid Robot.

So long as we're talking suspects, I think The Attorney (A guy that disguises his true identity behind an over the top spandex business suit and outlandish cowl) Should be a suspect as well.

The guys should somehow get a video, or otherwise electronic message from The Attorney, stating that he is not involved and any implication of his involvement is an act of slander.

Signed The Attorney, and you're not.

Ok I maybe going to out there but I think this would be cool to see in comic book form.
Transition to the jets flying around the Destructor-toid where the cast of Failcast: Yashoki, Charlie, King, Necros and Riser Glen. Yashoki is acting like Will Smith in Independence Day talking about their plan of attack against the giant robot and the rescue plan for the President. The response of "Roger" from everyone else sets the plan into motion with Necros being the young stupid pilot. He accidentally gets right in the sight of the Destructor-toid's weapons and Riser in a heroic moment saves Necros by taking the missiles directly. Then everyone cries for the death of Riser.

I have no idea how that would work but you can use your awesome magic on it.

*Dramatic angel showing olny Jim's eyes and Hamzas visor*
Jim- I may have to call in some back-up on this one...

*looking agitated*
Hamza- What the hell am I then?

Jim- Are you going to fight the giant robot alone? By all means by my guest. But don't come crying to me when he beats the c*nt off of you.

Hamza- Maybe you're right...

Jim's communicator - *ring* *Jim opens it*
Hamza- What? you're not going to kick IT open too?

Jim- Hello? Wardrox? I think we're going to need the big one... and could you hurry it up a bit?! *as a shadow is cast over our heros.

Panel 1:

CTZ says "It could be Bernard, Crecente, or any number of people really. First things first, we should find Niero and get that thing back under his control"

Jim says "You're right. Let's go find the rest of the crew"

Panel 2:

With that, they jump down off the roof to the docks and we see two vehicles. One is the jimmobile, it looks like this: http://www.dragtimes.com/albums/Los-Angeles-Concours-2007/1925_Rolls_Royce_Phantom_I.jpg

The other is the sharkmobile. It's like the bike from dark knight only with a big ol shark head where the front headlight is.

Panel 3

Hamza turns on the comm screen on the bike "Retroforce? Do you copy?"

Panel 3 inset

5 people are on the view screen in shadow. The one in the middle says "Hamza, so good to hear from you..."

Panel 4

The full panel is the view screen. The figures have stepped forward.

It's Dyson in the front middle, Chad and Colette on the left and Topher and Stella on the right. All of them armed for battle.

Dyson says "I take it Retroforce is a GO?"

and end. :D

THe Shark Vision scopes zooms in closer to the eye of Destructor-toid, and spots a shadowy figure, CTZ unable to zoom in any closer, and unable to focus on the figure, yells a string of choice expletives,
as the view changes to behing CTZ and Sterling, Lighting Flashes behind the Destructor-roid and the buildings surrounding it blow up in a ball of fiery goodness,
the view changes into the inside of the destrutor-roid, the shadowy figure is seen from behind wearing of course a cape that seems to be blowing in non existent wind seeing as he is inside the destructoid-roid looking out the round shaped Glass, the only light coming from the lit cigar in his mouth, and the flashes of lighting coming from the window,
The dark figure speaks "this is the way the world ends, this is the way the world ends,
Suddenly another flash of lighting, the shadowy figure turns around, yet we do not see his face, instead we see Chad , and Neiro tied up bound and gag, sitting next to each, the ban hammer is shown in the corner, and a jack Thompson for president poster hanging above their heads,
the figure finishes the poetic line "not with a bang but a whimper, and wee see a shared speaking bubble used by both neiro and Chad that says Whimper...

also chad has a hat on that says Wii on it (just for the heck of it

end..

Cut to another scene, a mysterious Reverend Anthony, dressed in preacher's garb (and perhaps the always-badass papa Burch) sees the Destructor-toid-esque robot from another angle, making note of its beautiful, Brian Crecente-style hair. He mutters "It's worse than I feared..." He picks up a microphone and says "Hey Ashley, call in the Retroforce"
"I'm busy!" She complains
"Don't be a bitch, this is important" He says annoyed
(perhaps more bickering)
Final Panel: Chad Concelmo's top secret Dolphin phone rings.

CTZ tells Jim he’ll distract the robot while Jim goes to get a hold of RFGO!. Jim is worried, but CTZ tells him he’ll be fine. CTZ then presses a button on his arm and a Man Cannon comes out of a compartment from the roof. CTZ jumps in the Man Cannon, hammer out, and flies straight towards Destructoid-tor yelling “SUCK MY DICK”

I love you Mikey. <3

Also, if it turns out to be Chad it needs to be Evil Chad, not real Chad.

Also, if Chad shows up make sure he rides in on a dolphin.

If Wardrox shows up, he needs to be on an AT AT or a Black Yoshi.

my entry:

Jim and Hamza are flying towards the giant Destructoid-bot for a head on attack. Hamza using his suit's built-in rocket packs, and Jim using the power of crumpets and tea.

Both our protagonists give the bot an uppercut to it's head and knocks it down. They agree that one more blow from the both of them should finish it off.

As they are about to deliver the final attack, the chest opens up revealing a Ninja Cyborg Zombie Obama. Both protagonists are shocked and Jim says "I guess we're not going to celebrate with burgers after all"

Meanwhile, At a swanky french club playing rave music...

The door to the club opens up, and in strolls Luc Bernard, looking like a hot woman, too bad he's a dude. He walks up to the stage where the DJ is scratching the records and taps him on the shoulder. The DJ flips one of his records and a secret compartment opens up on the floor, leading down to a dark room with the only light coming from computer monitors on the far wall. Sitting in front of the monitors is a solitary fat programmer who doesn't look like he's showered in days. Luc asks, "What's the situation? Is the Destructor-toid still rampaging and destroying that betraying Niero's name?"
"Yes, but there seems to be complications, his people are beginning to assualt this imposter robot. They'll find out it's not him soon enough" his programmer replies. "Good, soon we'll know just who is behind this charade as well!" says bernard, pushing back his girly locks of flowing hair.
