The Destructoid Comic: Compulsory underground level photo

The story so far:

The best plan of action to take out the Destructor-toid is to use Topher's ship, the Ikaruga. Well, it would be, but due to an unfortunate turn of events, the ship is out of action unless the group can get hold of a specialised engine part ... A Sega Dreamcast! Topher knows of a Goodwill store that has one and decides the safest way to get to it would be to go through the city subway system.

I'm sure nothing could possibly go wrong.

Puppy Licks had the winning comment this time:
The crew head underground where the sewers are filled with zombies that are actually commenters who have no avatars and yell random shit like "FIRST!" and spam the C blogs.

As the team let CTZ swing his banhammer every which way screaming "BANNED BITCHES!!" they begin to get outnumbered. They are almost overwhelmed until a mysterious pipebomb lures all the zombies away and blows them all into bloody chunks. The team looks and finds that the Failcast crew (all dressed as the L4D guys, Necros is Zoey) have been down there for weeks and are willing to lend a hand (unofficially).

Either that or try and squeeze a FireGod reference in there somewhere ;)
You may have noticed that I haven't included the entire Failcast team in this one. I was going to until I realized I have no idea what they look like. I know what Necros looks like because I think he added me on Facebook. Actually ... I'm not even sure if that is Necros. At the very least he's dressed as Zoey. If it's him.

Also, I've squeezed in a community member cameo! I'll try and do this more often. Check out the two brand new pages after the jump and be sure to leave a comment detailing what the next page should be!

Mikey, you would make a very tired and weary king happy if what happens next panel is that Yashoki dies. I dunno, just draw a generic sombrero wearing Mexican getting his face ripped off or something.

as the crew heads through the subway/sewers to get through, they encounter countless zombies on their way through

suddenly a flaming hunter (firegod) pounces topher and whispers into his ear gently "you havent beaten my metal slug 3 score have you?" and proceeds with the attack.

then the failcast crew blast him off and look at topher eroticly and say "looks like you could use some healing" necros' eyebrow raised and everything.

weird, i had a dream sunday night about being trapped in a causeway/underground water way/sewer thing full of zombies on both sides. so i yanked out some live electrical wires,climbed a manhole ladder out of the water and dropped the wires into the water and fried them all.

Necros leads the Dtoid crew through the subways running from a huge mob of zombies until everyone piles in the safe room, having trouble because of the amount of people in the same room. There people get weapons and reload on ammo while Necros tells people about the situation in the subway and how the Failcast crew, unofficial, escort people though the subway. The characters see King as Francis (picture) Hito as Bill (picture) but then when they get to Yashoki assuming he will be Louis you see Madninja as Louis (picture) Failcasts first guest. Everyone looking confuse, the last panel shows Yashoki as a turned Witch (picture)

Your "forums are that way" graffiti gives me an idea. Me and Orcist as leader of the forum CHUDS. Work Mxy and Sheir in there too if you can. Only line that needs to be said is "MAKE AN INTRO!" and then the chuds attack the group.

If you can work Mr Sadistic in there saying "I love you" that would be bonus as well.

If you do decide to do more with members of Failcast and are looking for more reference pictures beyond what Madninja linked, here are King3vbo (on the right), an alt-shot of Hitogoroshi, and Yashoki, plus fixing Madninja's last link. Also, I think it would be totally hilarious to see Yashoki (as a Mexican witch) get shot and for me to get lit on fire by Wilbo the Firegod, but I think people have given you enough suggestions and don't want to muddle much else up when I'm totally pumped to see myself in a comic because I'm an egotistical bastard.

can we see holmes in punch out gloves, transforming to giga mac or something breaking through the wall to get them out of the 'not-so-safe-room-anymore' due to a lack of space and over abundance of guns and chocolate bars? (imp. to keep him bald...pink jumpsuit could work when he is normal)

the comic is so good i have no clue what to suggest except characters no special events. sorry.

and who is this behind zoey-necros on the banner? just zoey or random or what?

I really can't get over how impressive this is. Well done once again. I would like to suggest what happens next but I'm afraid I've no idea how to get them out of this situation.

I just repeating my idea from a few comics back (and I'll continue until printed, heheheheh);

Meanwhile, whilst Jim, Hamza, Necros and the Retroforce Go! Team head through the underground, Anthony and Ashly Burch are trying to flee a whole mass of Red-Ringer XBots. Anthony only has a pistol, and inbetween firing shots, is trying to convince Ashly to run away.

Of course, Ashly is standing stock still, glaring at the XBots. Anthony is getting more agitated as the XBots approach the stationary sibling. However, Ashly's iron-willed stare emits a manga-style flash of light between her and the nearest XBot, destroying it and several others in a chain-reaction.

Anthony fails to notice that Ashly is the cause of their destruction, and hauls her away in a fireman's lift, complaining bitterly about her behaviour.

@ batthink...love it, im sure mikey will eventually have a strip for that thought, but i also think we need to follow through some of the great ideas... but the 'Ash Gaze' is pure win! Will let the artist decide :)

If you do end up having them get armed for zombie combat, I've got a specific idea. Everyone is armed with like shot guns, machine guns, and grenades, except Chad. He should have a squirt gun and 3D glasses, Zombies Ate My Neighbors-style.

Actually, I can expand on Madninja's idea. Since the saferoom is too small, we can have;

- Jim staring up Stella's skirt and going 'Nice view'
- One of the RFGo! members elbowing someone in the face.
- Colette screaming the punchline 'Saferoom? I'm DYING in here!'
- Someone 'riding' the back another member of D/Toid, exclaiming 'this is actually feels nice'
