The official Dead Space website updated today with what it's calling a "Graphic Novel teaser." Is that a teaser for an actual graphic novel, or a teaser for a game in the style of a graphic novel? Who knows? At any rate, the above video pertains to a "new chapter in the Dead Space saga," so fans best be on alert.
"While patrolling the planet Uxor, Earthgov Sergeant John Carver witnesses an attack on the Marker Site he guards which changes his life forever," reads the attached spiel. "John must now fight his way through a colony now in complete chaos as he begins to discover how important he is in fighting the Necromorph plague."
The site has three Marker symbols at the top, which pertain to numbers when translated. The numbers keep changing, though, since it actually seems to be an obscured countdown clock. Those sneaky fiends! According to our translation, the timer ends in two days. Or forty-six days, if we're wrong. Or apparently five days, even. Vagueness rules supreme!
Be prepared, folks!
When a well-received big-budget game falls below that magical $20 price point, I'm in. Green Man Gaming has an excellent deal on Tomb Raider which drops the PC version from $49.99 all the way down to $16.99. And with the promo code GMG20-LLASD-D8WBQ, it's $13.60.
Yes, that is ridiculous! Act sooner than later, as the deal is good through the rest of the day. Their goal is $800,000 for this free-to-play multiplayer shooter, and only ... Rockstar has today announced the obligatory collector's edition and pre-order bonus offerings for Grand Theft Auto V.

Sure, the meme is a bit old but the added sound effects to the Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate video is what really made this spoof for me. Bravo, Capcom-Unity.

I feel like we've been hearing a lot about The Last of Us lately, but that's far from a bad thing, as I'm finally starting to get a better idea of how it'll actually play. Here's more talk about the action-survival game, dir...
