grave robber finally makes it into the game? Can't wait I really enjoyed the Dead Space games. The first one took me a while since it scared me and I am a pansy but the sequel wasn't as bad.
As long as it's free, I'm onboard. The graphic novels released to bridge the gap between 1 and 2 were fucking god awful.
The artist was clearly not a comic book artist and copy/pasted character art throughout the book. One character had the exact same pose was used multiple times in a book.
It was nigh on insulting.

I hope they make this sequel less iterative and more original, fighting the same monsters over and over again really sapped some of the enjoyment of Dead Space 2 for me.
At the end of the countdown, a man in a spooky monster mask will shoot up on screen and yell "BOO!". People will then call it the greatest horror countdown this generation.
This may be nerdy, but the font they're using for the countdown is wrong, according to the translation key painted on the walls in the first game. They're using 1 for 0, 2 for 1, etc... Copy/pasting the '17' in the days column gives you '06'.

If Dead Space 3 is as good as the first 2 hours of Dead Space 2 it'll be totally worth playing!

I'd love to see some independent stories set in the Dead Space universe that didn't have to do with the main storyline. Maybe something not having to do with the markers? Otherwise this trailer was good, but I desperately hope it's not for actual Dead Space 3. The rumor about co-op in DS3 really turned me off to it..
If this guy is supposed to literally tie-in to Dead Space 3 as the "co-op" partner, that would seem to be quite a narrative mistake. I mean if it HAS to be a co-op campaign, why not Ellie? She and Isaac have pretty good chemistry and now w/ DS2 a backstory.
Still, I'm glad to hear DS3 rearing its head, now that everything is jumping to next year. It'll fill Bioshock Infinite's place!

i don't think this is Dead Space 3 since Dead Space 3 was supposed to be about Isaac and he's "other" self.
then again this could be a tie in with the upcoming game so that's good.

Dead Space i like my favorite franchise ever! Sci fi /horror - can't get enough of it. So can not wait for part 3!
