The Dark Knight custom 360, yours for a mere $1200 photo

I loved The Dark Knight just like the majority, and while I hate to have to say I followed the herd on anything, it's just a damn good film. Not being a lifelong Batman fan, however, I don't personally want to customize my 360 to reflect the theme you see above, but I can easily see why someone else might want to, as it's a killer presentation.

Speaking of killer, the price may do just that to you -- it'll cost you $1200 to score this beauty for your own living room. It's currently listed on eBay at that price as a Buy It Now item, although you can also attempt to make an offer to the seller if you don't quite have that much green to spare. The custom console was a prize in the Domino's Pizza giveaway "The Cards Tell The Tale," and only 110 of them were produced. It comes with all the goods except HDMI cables, which the seller specifies are not included.

Personally, I love my 360, but I'll stick with faceplates, as they are more in my price range. Anyone considering putting in a bid for this?

[Thanks, Adam]

If I had $1200 spare, I'd go to PAX instead.

$1200? No thanks. Can of black spray paint and decals would get you the same look.

$1200 and only a 20gb hard drive. It is pretty sexy though with the metallic black all over

It looks good, but not $1200 good. You could get a Falcon Northwest paint job for less than that.

Not bad, but I couldn't see dropping that kind of cash unless a charity was involved.

I know people that would buy this. I'm looking at people who put rims on a car which cost more than the vehicle itself! You know who you are!

No one wants to pay 1200 MS points for this. Make it 800 like the other ones.

Lousy price gougers.

You know that scene in The Royal Tennanbaums when Luke Wilson's character tries to kill himself and there's Elliott Smith's version of Needle in the Hay playing in the background? I love that scene.

Why do I want a gaming console featuring a movie character?

the only reason people buy it for 1200 is because its basically a collectors edition since 110 were made. But my bet is that it will NEVER be worth a lot of money so its pointless! People who buy this are idiots. I buy a 360 simply to play games, I don't care if its used and looks like someone shit all over it, long as it works! oh and long as it doesn't SMELL like someone shit all over it cuz that would be gross.
