The Daily Mail: Win a Sega Megadrive! Or ... not photo

The good old Daily Fail, never shy about its ignorance when it comes to videogames. You see, despite taking any opportunity it can to talk about the "sick filth" that is violent videogames, The Daily Fail seems to have very little understanding of them. This is exemplified when the British tabloid lists a Sega Megadrive among the Xbox 360, PS3 and Wii as a current game console.

The headline reads "1,000 Free Game Consoles: PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, Sega Megadrive, Wii, and more ..." Yes, only Daily Fail readers will have the opportunity to win a Sega Megadrive! Or not ... there is no Megadrive on offer, just that Blaze plug n' play machine with 20 old Genesis games on it.

This contest offer is also right above a headline that talks about babies being beaten to death. You can expect The Daily Mail to combine both stories by tomorrow morning. Because it is a rubbish newspaper that doesn't understand anything it talks about.

They listed the PS3 above the 360. The Daily Mail are total Sony fanboys.

It would be kind of cool but not as cool as winning a PS3.

I hate the Daily Fail with a passion
Alongside the Sun and the Daily Sport

They're not worthy to be called "newspapers"

A brand new, mint in box Megadrive? yes please. Actually, I'd rather have any old misb console over the new ones, except the 60gb ps3.

whoops, hit the wrong button, sorry for spam post!!

yeah a new PS3 would be cool, but there is something about the idea of winning a 'new' 18 year old console that boggles my mind, its like a crappy time machine or something.

Sah-WEET!!! But I really wish that they'd offer a 1571 drive for my Commodore 128. I could really use one of those.

I may sound heartless, but I'm so sick of hearing about Baby P. Every goddamn day for the past few weeks, all the front page has been about is 'Baby P' this and that. I mean, yeah, what happened was horrible and unforgivable, but for christ sake, there's other news!

I've actually entered the competition. I'll tell you how I'm getting on. :O)

Btw, you can collect vouchers to get a Blaze and pay a small amount for postage. Since there is a copy of the paper in the staff canteen where I work, I don't have to pay for the paper. Result. ;OD
