WHERE ARE THE GAMES? I know, I know. Microsoft has noted that E3 was going to be when it focused on games. But, c'mon, what a perfect video. Anyway, it's a bit hard to take solace in the fact that Microsoft is claiming it'll show off games at E3 when so much of what it showed off today was a bit of a bummer. Particularly the almost-always online and measures meant to curb used games. Still a lot of questions.

Ubisoft had a weird showing with some exciting moments -- which is par for the course, and basically what they deliver year after year.

EA had a very snappy presentation today, with very few announcements and mostly just recaps on the development of existing projects. The big news of course is the announcement that the Battlefield Hardline beta is going live today on PC and PS4 -- the site is already getting hit hard.

Microsoft had their E3 Conference today, and it was all about the games. Everything shown was game related, and they even got a few great reveals in there like a brand new Platinum Games exclusive that looks like it could be great. It didn't blow me away, but it's far from a disaster.
