Do you remember how awesome it was to get your first PC or console? Yeah, it was pretty sweet. You guys should post pictures in the comments of yourselves as kids with your early gaming rigs.
Today we have a new episode of The DTOID Show that talks about Mass Effect coming to iOS, reviews of NeverDead and Iron Brigade: Rise of the Martian Bear, impressions of DOTA 2, Gotham Impostors gets 100 DLC items, a giant platypus attacks Boston, the Olson twins announce their presidential run, the 3DS drops to $150 at GameStop, and McDonalds is actually good for you. I might have made a few of those up. Anyway, there is all kinds of fun stuff to read today.

Destructoid is an open discussion community. You don't need to "audition" to post a comment - just speak your mind. We respect differing opinions on the site, so have at it. Be smart, funny, insightful, clueless, or cute -- but back it up with substance. Keep your cool, keep it fun. We only ask that you act respectfully and above all: don't be a troll and ruin it for everyone else. Don't bring down gamers or we'll, you know, gently shoot you in the face and stuff you into a flaming mailbox. Each comment is your opportuntity to make this community awesomer. Is that even a word?
Avoiding the banhammer only requires common sense: spamming, trolling, racism, NSFW stuff, and other forms of sucking will not be tolerated. If anyone is griefing please report abuse. Be good. Don't suck!
Then again, I could always doodle up such an image in a flash. Better yet, I could draw an image of a child who can transform into a gaming rig. But would it be pedophilia if an adult fingered that robot child's keyboard?
BUSINESS
My parents would have struck gold if a camera'd been handy the Christmas I got my Genesis. They had me open up a box with what seemed to be the Genesis, but instead, it was this genesis docking station hunk of plastic where you could fit your sega and a few games in it... My parents always had a habit of thinking they knew what I wanted and wound up getting me some knockoff shit they THOUGHT was the right thing. The look on my face had to have been pure, unadulterated disgust. I remember looking to my parents, thinking, "please tell me yall didn't just do what I think you did..."
