Hi, my name is Samit, and I'm an addict. I'm addicted to ... not finishing games. I could probably name ten different games off the top of my head that I own and have not completed (and I haven't come close to finishing many of those games).
I guess I have an ADD of sorts when it comes to games -- I move on to the latest, greatest thing when it comes out, and often, I'll never go back to the game I was playing. For example, I bought Ratchet & Clank Future: Tools of Destruction way back at the end of October 2007. I played it for about two or three hours, and I have not touched it since. It's not because I didn't like what I played -- I enjoyed it -- but at the time, I was busy with Guitar Hero III and Warhawk, and I just never went back.
Why am I boring you with this story? Well, a new Ratchet & Clank game, entitled Ratchet & Clank: A Crack in Time, was announced yesterday, and I think I'm finally going to be compelled to go back and beat Tools of Destruction before A Crack in Time comes out this fall. We'll see.
Other news of note on Destructoid on 03/26/09 included: the new Team ICO game will bear similarities to ICO; a DRM-free solution to PC piracy from Stardock; Ubisoft classics coming to GOG; and more.

Destructoid is an open discussion community. You don't need to "audition" to post a comment - just speak your mind. We respect differing opinions on the site, so have at it. Be smart, funny, insightful, clueless, or cute -- but back it up with substance. Keep your cool, keep it fun. We only ask that you act respectfully and above all: don't be a troll and ruin it for everyone else. Don't bring down gamers or we'll, you know, gently shoot you in the face and stuff you into a flaming mailbox. Each comment is your opportuntity to make this community awesomer. Is that even a word?
Avoiding the banhammer only requires common sense: spamming, trolling, racism, NSFW stuff, and other forms of sucking will not be tolerated. If anyone is griefing please report abuse. Be good. Don't suck!
however i usually go back to the games later on to finish them. i started a game of oblivion then came back to it 2 years later.
Think of it as Fifa 09 with Giant Midfielders.
