I've always loved the music in Sonic games. It's usually pretty cheezy, but so upbeat that it's a joy to listen to.

The nu-metal garbage that has plagued Sonic games since they went 3D is simply horrendous. Did anyone play the old games?
Right, a post about it followed 9 comments all saying they like the song, and then 1 saying it's crap. Clearly the majority is crazy... that's how it works, right?
Or it could be that music is something that is dependent on any given individual's tastes, and the way Sonic music has evolved just (sadly) isn't up your alley.
I have played the older games and their music is nice too. It's actually some of the only overly-tinny sounding Genesis music I enjoy.
No you didn't. That didn't actually happen.
Why not? I did it a few times with my DC before I could acceptably run DC emulators on my PC.
It's so sad that the sonic music degraded so badly as they went into their 3d foray. It's bad enough the gameplay was so offensive, but then I'm getting blasted with what is essentially Saturday morning cartoon theme songs instead of awesome sonic music.
"NO! YOUR TASTE IN MUSIC IS BAD AND YOU SHOULD FEEL BAD!"
I was gonna use the holocaust, but, you know, don't wanna upset people too much over a joke.
Still, tho.
Ha! Though I'm equally not convinced, I still have my DC hooked up alongside my PS3 to jump on some SA2 and Project Justice from time to time
The Rush games had awesome music as well.
