Re-re-re-re-recapThe Daily Hotness: Channeling O.J. Simpson photo

Ron Gilbert, of Monkey Island fame, as well as the recent The Cave (presently free on PS+!), wrote a blog post: "If I Made Another Monkey Island..." Like O.J. Simpson's bizarre book If I Did It, Gilbert adamantly stated that he is not making another Monkey Island. Several times. Don't get your hopes up. No, this is more an interesting thought experiment on Gilbert's behalf. One which didn't tickle me as it did many. I find a lot of the retro tenets (insane logic) of adventure games to be a bit non-functional. Still, interesting. Begin speculating against Gilbert's behest. I mean, LucasArts is no more, right?

Today, Jim played with Skylanders toys, Chris Carter reviewed the retro Shin Megami Tensei: Devil Summoner: Soul Hackers in its first Western release, Steven Hansen previewed the newly physics laden NCAA Football 14 and the fantasy adventure Brothers - A Tale of Two Sons,  Abel Girmay previewed the cute-looking Cloudberry Kingdom, and more!

Here's everything that happened during Ubisoft's 2014 E3 Conference

Ubisoft had a weird showing with some exciting moments -- which is par for the course, and basically what they deliver year after year. The clear-cut big-time showing this year was Rainbow Six Siege, a glorious return to form...more

Here's everything that happened during EA's 2014 E3 Conference

EA had a very snappy presentation today, with very few announcements and mostly just recaps on the development of existing projects. The big news of course is the announcement that the Battlefield Hardline beta is going live today on PC and PS4 -- the site is already getting hit hard. Here's everything that happened at EA's 2014 E3 press conference.more

Here's everything that happened during Microsoft's 2014 E3 Conference

Microsoft had their E3 Conference today, and it was all about the games. Everything shown was game related, and they even got a few great reveals in there like a brand new Platinum Games exclusive that looks like it could be great. It didn't blow me away, but it's far from a disaster. Here's everything that happened.more
