Holy sh*t! It's actual in-game footage of Duke Nukem Forever running in real time! I never thought I would live to see the day. Now that this was shown off, there's a good chance that we'll be seeing this in greater detail during E3.

Other big news from today includes the very long Ghostbusters script, GTA IV's DLC delay, and our new PC editor, Justin Villasenor, joins team Destructoid.

Thanks for being the one site who actually managed to disable that video's autoplay option.

bah. it's always going to be DNF, even when they get it out the door, i.e. "real soon now", Did Not Finish will forever have a place in the common imagination, along with all the billions of possible sequels that never got made, and some of those sequels that did get made and really shouldn't have.

don't ruin the game by releasing it.

or there's the fliside, as someone posted on digg, no wonder it's been 10 years, there's only 3 developers working on DNF.

There is no way the game is going to be good enough to justify the long development time. If it's not perfect it's going to ripped apart by people. That footage was not enough to get me excited. It looked like most other shooters out there. Hopefully we'll see more at E3.

If people forget Duke has been in development since the dawn of time, I think it might actually be decent. Just pretend it's 1998 or something..you should be good then.

The game would've been a legend if it never came out, now it'll probably be just another FPS. Here's to proving me wrong
