My dear readers, I have a fetish. I thoroughly enjoy making you guys and gals look at things that simply make you go "what the f*ck" and make your brain feel like it's dividing by zero as it tries to process what it just saw. Tonight, I think I have outdone myself.
 
I know this is a monster from the Silent Hill series, but I'm not exactly sure what they're called. Correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe this is a Twoback, which are baddies from Silent Hill: Origins. In any case, this is one of best cosplays I have ever seen. Sure, it's extremely creepy, but I absolutely just adore it. You can tell a lot of hard work went into creating the costume. Can you just imagine how bad the guy's back must have felt at the end of the day holding all the weight? Very impressive, indeed.

ACen 2008. That costume won Judge's Choice at the Masquerade. my friends also performed a skit to "what is this feeling?" from Wicked. it was totally amazing. greatest ACen yet.

Hello, one and all. I'm the guy on bottom.
I'm really glad how well this costume was received. Of course it isn't perfect, but I'll improve it for future cons. Here's a video of our walk-on:

We were literally putting this together the day before the con. We forgot her "shorts" at my place, and I wasn't able to fine-tune the overall look as much as I wanted (color, paint, and areas where you can see my back). Our main challenge building this is that Avianna (the chick on top) lives far away and we don't really have transportation. So this was built in a total of about 5 days of her visiting.

Obviously I wouldn't have walked around with a person on my back unless I LOVED Silent Hill. Check out my other SH costumes (Pyramid Head, Valtiel, Nurse) at http://realdaguru.deviantart.com/
