I wish that fixing up the buildings of Toronto, Canada was really as easy as this; summer construction would go a lot quicker, too.
Ryerson University student Julian Cardozo created a neat video while messing around with Adobe After Affects. Using a picture of the Toronto city skyline, he recreated a game of Tetris to rebuild the skyline -- he even added the Tetris music and sounds.
The video quality isn't something to write home about, but it's not bad for a first try. I look forward to the Toronto version of Super Mario Bros. next ... How about Super Bad Boys? Who's better than Super Bad Boys ... NOOOOBODY!
I'm not going to say that wasn't cool, because it was, but it could have been so much better. I mean, he only had to rotate a piece once at the end, and the pieces didn't really move like Tetris pieces would. Still, enjoyable, but lacks fine polish.
True call with the Mel Lastman reference. Furthermore xmetninjax, the only way you could possibly hate toronto is if you are a Canadian who isn't from southern ontario. I'm gonna go ahead and guess you're from Calgary.
