The Book of Unwritten Tales goes on sale photo

Whilst it's still to early to tell whether or not Double Fine's Kickstarter project will be a success or failure in delivering a top-quality game, it has succeeded in showing there is still demand for adventure games. In a bid to give the genre a bit of a boost during this time of interest, The Book Of Unwritten Tales has seen a price reduction.

If you haven't already played it, the game tells the story of three characters trying to stop a powerful artifact from falling into the hands of an evil sorceress. The Book of Unwritten Tales is a pretty darn good, old-fashioned point-and-click adventure that manages to crack some decent gags at the genre's expense and even gaming in general.

The hooray-adventures-are-not-dead sale is knocking 33% off The Book of Unwritten Tales over at the KING Art Games' website until the 15th of March, so head over there to take advantage.

bought this a few weeks back and don't regret full price. Best adventure game ive played since machinarium. The difficulty is spot on, somewhere between Telltales interactive stories and a classic adventure game, the puzzles are nearly always completely logical and it's easier because of it. Its full of funny references and charm, well worth picking up if you want an lucas arts style adventure game without some of the obscure puzzles
