The Behemoth's next game could come to multiple platforms photo

Wii and PS3 owners may feel jealousy over the fact that The Behemoth's releases have favored the Xbox 360, but producer John Baez had some things to say in a recent interview with Gamasutra that may have PS3 and Wii owners feeling hopeful about playing Behemoth titles on their consoles very soon!

Baez confirmed that platforms have yet to be decided for their next title, which has yet to be named. The studio is a registered developer for WiiWare, PSN and Xbox Live Arcade, but so far has yet to venture outside of the 360 realm as far as downloadable titles go (Alien Hominid was on both PS2 and the Gamecube).

Would you prefer to own hard copies of these games, or are you fine with them being downloadable content and saving you some shelf space?

I myself will stick to the downloaded versions but it is kind of nice to see them expand like this...

Downloads are fine, but boxes would be fantastic!

I prefer digital copies for games like this, and unless there's some kind of exclusivity deal in place, I see no reason why The Behemoth can't release Castle Crashers on PSN.

For Big titles like Ratchet & Clank, Burnout or any other AAA Title I always want a box. I think DLC should be for cheap games that won't sell in the stores, or for additional content for existing games.
I've bought quite a few PS3 games but have scaled back. I want the box and having the disc means if your system's HDD fails you can always reload it. Yes I know you can back it up to a flash drive. I'm just not interested in bothering to back up games that should come on a disc to begin with. $5 games notwithstanding.

I'm not done playing Castle Crashers! I've cleaned out the game but where's my additional areas DLC!?! I'm not done playing this style of slash 'em up! It's Golden Axe on crack!

I'm with Steve. It depends on the game.

If it's a cheap, smaller title like "Castle Crashers" and "Alien Hominid HD", I can deal with the download as long as I'm allowed to download it again should I ever need to (hard drive crash or whatever). Hell, even with the Wii (now that we can save directly to an SD card) I wouldn't care about being downloadable. For larger, more expensive games I must to have a disc.

I'm fine with downloads. It's great to have a collection of games on your HDD and just choose what you want to play without putting a disc in.

I'll wait and see if multiplayer works first.

I wouldn't mind a disc of the other games and their new ones... for the simple fact that Xboxs take regular craps on the consumer. I think that they should do both downloadable and disc-based... That way it's easier to put it back on your drive after you've had to have your box repaired.
