Oh my God. What the hell is going on here. When I started watching a few videos found by Siliconera of Star Ocean: The Last Hope gameplay, I expected a bit of craziness in the battle scenes, but I didn't expect blinding chaos.
Like in this video above: the party walks up on some unassuming tree in the forest. Okay, so it's a monster tree. But it's not like the tree was doing anything bad. Regardless, the party goes absolutely apesh*t on the poor thing, hitting it with holy arrows and oversized beam cannons and whatnot. Then, after the tree dies, light flashes from the sky and angry giant bees come out of the wood work. What the hell is going on here.
