Take note Nintendo, people dig specially themed systems to reflect some of your most popular games. Hell, this is the second Nintendo system themed after Metroid this week alone!

Anyway, Morpheon Mods is at it again with their latest mod. First it was the Legend of Zelda Wii case mod. Then they unveiled the DS Lite Zelda mod. Now their latest project is revealed and it is completely inspired by Metroid Prime 3. Each color was hand-mixed and the Wii and stand were matched to Samus's suit. The Wiimote is matched after Samus's canon and the buttons were custom-made as well. Yellow-green LEDs were put in replace the standard blue light and installed in various other places on the stand to match Samus's visor. There are also LEDs behind the Metroid logo and the light on the Wiimote was also changed to match with everything else. My favorite part of the entire mod (aside from the awesome looking logo) has to be the modded stand that can hold AND recharge the Wiimote.

As with all of their auctions, 15 percent of the sales will go to Penny-Arcade's Child's Play. The auction currently is at $710 with four days left to bid. This is just one of those things that makes you wish you were rich but aren't so you want to take revenge on society by training bears to shoot bees out of their mouths at upper class society ...
