Following on from Time magazine's top ten games of the year, the Associated Press has chimed in with a list of its own. Unlike the eclectic and rather strange top ten of Time, it seems that AP has taken a walk on the safer side, picking a more predictable selection of titles while making sure to give console exclusives the fanboy-satisfying positions they need.
Here is what AP rates as the top games of the past year:
- Uncharted 2: Among Thieves
- Assassin's Creed 2
- Dragon Age: Origins
- Batman: Arkham Asylum
- inFAMOUS
- Ratchet & Clank Future: A Crack in Time
- Mario & Luigi: Bowser's Inside Story
- Borderlands
- Forza Motorsport 3
- Grand Theft Auto: Chinatown Wars
Certainly a list to make any Sony loyalist happy, I think you'll agree, and a far more crowdpleasing list. The lack of Modern Warfare 2 is definitely strange, though. You won't see many lists leave that little blighter off the list.

Ugg boots are especially manufactured keeping in mind more of a casual look,so it definitely matters if you are to carry a casual look or for a party.When it comes to clothes,we do have certain preferences.It feels like on the top of this world when we get to have something which is so smart yet elegant.So,try out once and wear with that outfit.You will feel on the top of this world.

You know when you see a trailer for a movie that looks like it was made specifically just to win Oscars? Modern Warfare 2 is the video game equivalent of that.

Multi genre lists are fucking stupid and worthless. Dragon Age is better than Batman which is better than Forza 3, what is that supposed to mean? How the fuck would one even begin to compare those games?

COD MW2 does stick out as a missing entry, and I would included it instead of GTA Chinatown Wars but aside from that I wouldn't change ttheir list too much.
