The assassination of Albert Einstein in Red Alert 3

This is the "Hell March" trailer for Red Alert 3. While not as entertaining as the remix trailer we got last month, it does show us the Soviet Premier removing Albert Einstein from existence (as Einstein did to Adolf Hitler in Red Alert), setting up the events of the third game. They all seem visibly dismayed over the outcome, wouldn't you say?

I'm always a bit wary when a game signs a whole bunch of known actors to take on roles. This pleases me, though. It's probably just because I love Tim Curry so much, but the game's cutscenes are growing on me more and more. Peter Stormare doesn't hurt either. Let's hope that the game itself winds up being as fun as the FMV sequences appear to be.

Command and Conquer: Red Alert 3 hits the PC on October 28th, followed by the 360 release on November 11th.

This looks like the most absurdly absurd game ever. Never playing any of the earlier Red Alerts probably left my expectations somewhat open but that Japanese samurai robot was a pretty big WTF.

That's exactly what I always figured would happen. If Einstein didn't exist, giant Japanese robots would have attacked Russia.

You know, if they would bring the Wing Commander and Crusader series again, my FMV/Gaming PC experience would be complete, awesome and exceptionally cheesy.

Hell, just bring back all the Origin properties. Please. Please please please.

Tim Curry is fantastic. I would buy this game for him alone, not to mention George Takei.
