Beta keys are not required

Anno Online will cease operations for its closed beta tomorrow and will enter a full, public open testing session. As an aside, all progress through the closed and open beta will not be wiped, so don't feel limited in that regard.

Ubisoft notes that as a result of flipping over the beta, the game will experience a brief downtime tomorrow morning at 4AM EST. If you were a part of the closed beta, you'll net a free week of challenges and a mystery gift once the open period starts.

As I said in my preview, I found it to be a fairly enjoyable, stress-free city building experience, so check it out for free tomorrow while we wait for a proper Anno game. City building, ahoy!
