Activision and Beenox's The Amazing Spider-Man will be shared with the world for the first time through an exclusive trailer to be shown during Spike TV’s Video Game Awards, airing live on Saturday, December 10 at 8:00 p.m. Eastern.
As you'd guess, this game is tied to the summer 2012 release of the movie of the same name, and will be released at about the same time. The game will serve as an epilogue story occurring after the events of the movie, and will take place in New York City.
There's a little teaser on the game's official webpage, but you'll have to wait for the Spike VGA's for the real deal.

I think we all just need to accept that Spiderman 2 the game was a fluke.
Im still hopeful that one day we will get a triple a spider-man game but Im doubtful it will ever happen.
Meanwhile Beenox (whose "stellar" track includes Bee Movie Game and the Monsters vs. Aliens movie game) gets to be the "premier" Spider-Man game developer. Where's the justice?
Shattered Dimensions is an underrated gem. Edge of Time sucks ass though. beenox knows more of the franchise than Treyarch, actually. so i fully support their excapades.

Really though, the DS version is better than all the other versions. Credit Griptonite for that one, not Beenox.
Agreed on multiple accounts -- Shattered Dimensions DS is the best. And I wish Treyarch stuck with Spidey and not riding Infinity Ward's COD coattails.
I'm pretty sure Activision made Treyarch develop CoD games. It's not their fault. At least I hope not. If Treyarch willingly asked to develop the CoD games, then they're idiots.

I still want to give this a chance (You never know), but I fnd myself leaning in the "This is going to be bad" direction based on the last few Spiderman games :(
