Activision and Beenox's The Amazing Spider-Man will be shared with the world for the first time through an exclusive trailer to be shown during Spike TV’s Video Game Awards, airing live on Saturday, December 10 at 8:00 p.m. Eastern.

As you'd guess, this game is tied to the summer 2012 release of the movie of the same name, and will be released at about the same time. The game will serve as an epilogue story occurring after the events of the movie, and will take place in New York City.

There's a little teaser on the game's official webpage, but you'll have to wait for the Spike VGA's for the real deal.

Are you down for a new Spider-Man?

Geometry Wars 3 releasing in late November

I didn't want to stop playing Geometry Wars 3: Dimensions at PAX Prime. Part of that was due to the years-long gap since the last one released, admittedly, but more importantly the game ended up being a lot of fun. There's no...more

Review: Skylanders: Trap Team

Toys For Bob has found some rather interesting ways to evolve the Skylanders franchise. While the conceit the first time around was simply interactive toys, the developer mixed things up with giants on the second go, and...more
