The alphabet of 'Game Overs' in comic strip form

Currently running in brentalfloss the comic

Superfans of brentalfloss might be aware that he has his own self-titled webcomic. He doesn't draw it -- doodles are provided by one Andrew Dobson -- but he co-writes along with series creator Dan Roth. And whenever there's a painfully unfunny joke or comic title, you can point the finger squarely at Brent's input!

But the current arc is actually quite adorable. Kicking off with strip #143 is a tribute to the Edward Gorey book The Gashlycrumb Tinies entitled "The Game Over Tinies," an illustrated alphabet that humorously describes various game characters' untimely demises. Sorta like Ashley Davis' Mega Man alphabet, only with more non-violent death!

The first strip covers A (Aeries) through F (Frogger), while #144 covers G (Ganon) through J (Earthworm Jim). The next strip will likely appear on Friday, then the three-comics-a-week cycle will start over again. Keep an eye on them!
