lol, having a bit of trouble with steam right now. Apparently the steam store is experiencing heavy load right now. They must be raking it in. Did manage to get a glimpse of some pretty good deals though.
omg I can finally buy ME2.... I know it is sad but after C&C First Decade I told myself that I would only pay EA what I think their products are worth.

Getting Rayman Origins for sure. Looking lustfully over the Sega bundle -- $50 including Binary Domain and a crapload of their older classics. Need to see how much Earth Defense Force is when I can access the store page again.
I have nearly 40 games on my Steam wishlist, and all but about 3 of them are on sale right now. What? o.o
I will check it out after I get home from work (1am) and hopefully the store won't be over loaded like it is now.

You would be AN IDIOT to not buy Binding of Isaac and Terreria for under five dollars; simply an idiot.
I simply had to buy Ultimate Doom, Ys Origins, Aquaria, Elder Scrolls 3, and the Blackwell Series. What did everyone else buy?! Squeee!
It's annoying how a load of stuff is on sale but they don't mention it. So far I've only got The Missing Link for DE:HR. Might get some other stuff if the price gets reduced more. I've got my eye on Half Life 1&2, Torchlight 2 and Trine 2.

Definitely get all the Monkey Island games; they're the essential form of point and click adventure, as far as I'm concerned.
Dreamfall and Syberia are darker in tone, or at least they don't have as much levity as Sam & Max/Monkey Island, but they're very deep and engrossing games.
Machiniarium is an absolute delight and for $5 right now, you really can't go wrong.
Some other recommendations include the two Indiana Jones games on sale on Steam right now, Botanicula, Samorost 2, and Superbrothers: Sword & Sorcery.
Point and Click will never die!
