Already? Some of us are still recovering from the last major Steam sale. In case you hadn't heard the commotion, it's that time of year again. The Steam Holiday Sale started today and will continue through January 5, 2013. Click at your own risk.

Highlights from day one include Hitman: Absolution ($24.99), Wargame: European Escalation ($9.99), Borderlands 2 ($29.99), the Prince of Persia Complete Pack ($12.24), War of the Roses ($14.99), Natural Selection 2 ($9.99), and Intrusion 2 ($3.39).

There's also a ridiculous Indie Super Mega Pack ($69.99) that lives up to its name. Essentially, it's the kind of thing you buy for someone who hasn't gotten around to some of the best independent titles from the past couple years. If you see a deal that's worthy but hasn't gained much attention, be sure to hit the comments to convince us.
