UK gaming bar Loading wanted to celebrate the Metal Gear series' 25th anniversary with a little pizzazz, so it hired a freelance designer named Joseph Payne to assemble an appropriate bar-themed work of art. The result was a pixelated likeness of Solid Snake made out 2100 shot glasses.
The glasses were filled with one of 25 differently colored liquids -- I'd like to assume each one was a distinct alcoholic beverage, but it was probably all just dyed water. A large print of the finished design was then given to Hideo Kojima, who happened to be in town for a BAFTA presentation.
While on the subject of Loading, owner James Dance is interested in opening a second location. The current bar is in Cornwall, but he would like to expand to London. If you want to help out, please donate some change to his Indiegogo fundraiser. All he asks for is $50k -- he can secure the rest of the funding on his own. Care to lend him a hand?
