That Prey 2 countdown was for a fan site and petition

Alien Noire

The countdown website for Prey 2 has ended, and even with publisher Bethesda stepping in to warn anxious fans that it was not involved, a part of me wanted to believe that it was all part of an act. As it turns out, the Alien Noire site was created to house media and info for the game in addition to a petition asking Human Head Studios and Bethesda to finish what they started.

Even if I am disappointed by what this teaser turned out to be, its creation seems to have come from a good place. Props are also in order for the petition's passionate (if a little silly) copy: "Shotgun blast aliens in the face! Drop kick citizens off balconies! Toss credits at green exotic dancers! Help Tommy save Earth from destruction! Help yourself by signing your name and making your voice heard! You’re going to make this all possible."

Darn it, Prey 2 -- we want to play you!
