Today's Understatement of the Day is brought to you by Dale North.
The name and logo screams "Final Fantasy" at the top of its lungs while poking you with a big stick.
I thought the Kingdom Hearts games had some shitty names, but this brings a whole new level of straight up lame to the table.
Well when it's released I'll be borrowing a Wii from someone, not a chance in hell I'll miss a Mistwalker game.
This is VERY cool! Fuck the haters indeed.
It's kind of like 20 years ago when Nintendo was in power and creating 2D Mario games. At least back then Nintendo had higher standards for allowing games on their console.
Well if its being made with Nintendo to be a 1st Party title, than dah, of course its going to be a Wii title. What were you expecting it to be for the PS3/360?
If Nintendo is going with MistWalker to do a RPG, than I wonder what Project Sora is? Its been in development for a year now, but I can't see Nintendo doing another RPG, seeing as how they already have this, Xenoblade, and Zangeki. So who knows what Project Sora could be?
LOL. You seriously believe that Nintendo had higher standards back then? The Nintendo Seal of Quality doesn't mean shit. Any number of retro game shows on the internet can show you that.
It's also likely that this game would not come out this year if it were on the Xbox 360 or the PS3, as the Wii is not as "difficult" to develop a game for.
Anyways Dale, I like how you handled the news to everyone.
Fanboys are so dam retarded
You really could have just ended the comment there.
@Drakengard
Until he does a game on the PS3, I don't care.
@drewwk
Why is this on the wii damnit? I thought Mistwalker was owned by Microsoft.....
And here we have two material witnesses. Does that make it law now?
If this is right, then this is an instant purchase for me. My Wii could do with more RPGs, anyway.
Or maybe we don't want to waste our money on a console that will just sit there and collect dust 90% of the time. I only just got a PS3. I don't have the money to splurg on a gimmicky half-assed console with maybe 10 games I'd even care to play and 10 is pushing it.
In an ideal world, I'd have more than enough money I wouldn't care how I spent it. The real world requires choices and the Wii's overall value just plain blows.

How does that prove your point?
I don't care about Mario Kart. I don't care about Mario. I don't care about Zelda games, they bore the hell out of me. I don't care about A Boy and his Blob. I don't care about Metroid games. I don't care about Resident Evil. I don't care about FinalFantasyCC. I don't care about Wii Fit, Wii Sports or any of that. I don't care about Red Steel. I don't care able SSB.
Aside from Mad World [Matsuno being involved being the only real draw there] and perhaps a couple other titles, I don't care about the Wii's game list.
I'm not proving your point. I am the anti-thesis to YOUR point. I don't care about Nintendo first party games that have been rehashed to death. Thus there are few games on the Wii that I would EVER pay for.
I have played the Wii before. It is not that fun. It is a sad gimmick and its sadder still that the PS3 and 360 are actually trying to join the party.
The only thing that's even more pathetic is that the moment someone succinctly makes their point you label them a 'fanboy.' Seriously, get off your high horse.

Even if that's how you feel, it doesn't make sense that you'd close your mind to a new release for the system which might interest you.
At the moment I can't afford an iPhone or a PSP, but I hear about games such as MGS Peace Walker, Topple, Crayon Physics Deluxe, LocoRoco and Monster Hunter Freedom Unite and I'm still interested in them because I like games.
I totally agree with you cause i was a fanboy in the N64 era and i missed out on tons of good games cause i was ignorant and stupid and didnt want to even take the time to try out ps1 games. I ended up stumbling upon ff7 at my neighbour's house and fell in love with the series then and there.
1) Wall of text is confusing as hell.
2) I'm pretty sure that if I had added "The Wii's a terrible waste of money and space. Not interested." you'd have probably jumped on my back as much as you are now.
So, do yourself a favor, clean you glasses or wipe the 'fanboy rage dust' out of your eyes and realize that not every person who thinks the Wii sucks does so on the ignorance of the Wii's hidden treasure trove.
Than just don't buy it, no was is forcing you to waste your money on anything, but don't expect to play Nintendo's 1st Party games than. You can't have your cake, and eat it too. You have to buy games for any console, or it will collect dust, so I don't see the point of people saying that stupid "collecting dust" joke. The games are out there, you just have to buy them!
