I have a 360, but I'm not getting RE6 because that's money that could be spent on a survival horror game.
If the game didn't have so much content already on-disc (3 campaigns + 1 unlockable, Co-op, Agent Hunt and Mercenaries) I'd be complaining. And if it were single player content, I'd really be complaining. Assuming that it's on-disc and that Capcom is cheating us!
But, it's just more MP content. Content that doesn't affect me much at all and shouldn't really affect many.

Soon enough we are going to have games where 360 has timed exclusive sections of the main story.. This is getting a little silly...

I'm sure this is more like the CoD timed exclusive DLC rather than Bethesda's incompetence in coding for the PS3.
I'm still going to grab this because the RE series has earned the benifit of the doubt from me, Ive enjoyed every game in the numbered series so far.
But if this game is a big bummer I will probably end up joining you naysayers.

Makes you wonder how much money Microsoft throws at these developers to convince them to piss off a lot of their fan base.

Yeah, this is a relatively minor thing, and I've enjoyed some games that have used exclusivity like this (Skyrim). But it goes beyond that. I find myself absolutely uninterested by the game itself, which is ridiculous for a former fan like myself. I also dislike Capcom's entire approach these days, and I don't think they have any idea what they're doing anymore.

The Resident Evil Anthology for ps3 is still what Im going with, it just has some much value to someone like me that didnt play the first 3 games and hadnt downloaded 4 hd (one of my favorite games) yet. The only thing that would piss me off is if they locked out the Mercenaries mode. I dont care about PvsP in Resident Evil games.
Can't they just get over with the timed exclusivity ? Seriously, that's the worst marketing technic I've seen. And later they will say "Ooooh we're sorry, we promised you a DLC for PS3 but even if we did a whole game without any problem on PS3, this small piece of DLC is waaay too hard to program. We're working really hard with Sony to find a solution." Yeah yeah whatever. I just don't buy that BS. I'll get the game anyway tho !

The DLC obviously already exists for the 360, so it's a fair bet that it's already been ported for the PS3 & they're just sitting on it. Platform timed exclusives for multiplatform games is a practice I frown on, whichever platform is affected.
On the other hand, it's Resi, & after playing through the mediocre number 5, I don't think I'll be getting this until I hit a very dry spot & can buy it for a mediocre price.

Even though I'm excited for the game and can't wait to get it (on the 360, no less), all I could think about this is "whoop de fricken doo".

good lord Resident evil just keeps getting bigger and bigger. all the campaigns, co-op, and tons of game modes, I cant believe all the stuff thats ON THE DISC let alone what future DLC will bring. I'll be all over this game.
for all those who have yet to understand the concept of locked disc content, all the dlc mess and timed shit, its all to combat against used game sales, used game stores sell you a game cheaper,but by locking content and not releasing the entire game at one time they make money to the company by creating DLC thats the whole reason for DLC its to combat against you buying the game cheaper at a used game store and them losing out on money because you did.

@robert wood timed exclusivity for certain consoles in no way would "combat used game sales." I don't even know what you mean by "locked dlc." whether you buy a game new or used you can still buy the same DLC. You referring to online passes to play multiplayer modes? If so that's completely unrelated to timed exclusivity of content to a certain console.
