A good start, but in truth, this topic can not be well served by anything less than a full Ken Burns series.
the video was a fantastic video jim, but the original trailer made me close it because it was TOO funny.
That guy in the Polygon video who dismissed most games as "trivial" is a pompous fuck-nugget. I believe most game journalists with that attitude are people who wanted to be film critics and are bitter that they write about games for a living.
I always thought you did the Jimquisition outside for some reason. I used to think, hey look at good ol' Jimmy boy going out side and risking his life to get his message out. Now I know otherwise. But look on the bright side: at least we know you will be in the safety of your own home delivering a message from God(you) for a very long time.

Almost as ridiculous as Polygon's trailer, but theirs is funnier because they genuinely think they are the sons of god, and they say it with a straight face, a profound look and a blurry background.

Goddamn... I can't believe how pretentious the guys at Polygon are. Making a documentary about the making of your nonexistent website is pretty hilarious, though.
The only thing about Polygon I like is that my favorite GameInformer writer, Phil Kollar, is part of it.

the article talks about how money is distributed for a purchase on a game. i think the statistic is still true and the developers are getting the short end of the stick in all this. why should a retailer receive the majority of the profit. all they do is stock the product.

I've been through some horrible, tragic shit recently, and I can always, *always* count on you to make me laugh or think (usually both).
It's fucking healing shit, man. Never forget that you actually make a real difference in people's lives.
Even if 'you being you' and doing your thing ends up with the collective shit-head known as the internet trolling and harassing and torturing you... it's a sacrifice I'm willing to make ; )
