It seems that an industry event in 2010 just wouldn't be complete without a ludicrous amount of Sengoku Basara: Samurai Heroes media. I'll be honest with you, I'm not going to post all FIVE trailers that Capcom released for the Tokyo Game Show, because I don't think they'll get watched.
Instead, let me post one overall character trailer that pretty much gets the idea across. Also, if you were (somehow) a fan of Devil Kings, keep watching it. None other than Oda Nobunaga appears at the end. He was actually the only cool thing about Devil Kings, so I'm kind of stoked to see him back.
Man-on-man melodrama and hack n' slash violence makes this a game I'm really quite hyped for. Looking forward to it!

Destructoid is an open discussion community. You don't need to "audition" to post a comment - just speak your mind. We respect differing opinions on the site, so have at it. Be smart, funny, insightful, clueless, or cute -- but back it up with substance. Keep your cool, keep it fun. I don't know whether those characters are all annoying or completely crazy awesome. Some of the voice acting is really irritating in my opinion, but the abundance and silly hats, eye patches, and patently ridiculous weaponry is entertaining at least.
Which is exactly why I love Sengoku Basara.
I agree about the voices which is why I imported it. It is very hard to hear the characters have totally different voices which can sometimes give them a bit of a different personality. Everytime I hear Yukimura in english.. not only does he sound way calmer, but I can't help but picture Juto from Magna Carta 2 lol. Date definitely isn't the same either without his random engrish words thrown in when speaking japanese.. :( I still have my fingers crossed on some future dlc for the japanese voices so I can buy the US version. I seriously doubt it though, because it seems like it would be a huge download. There is wayy more dialogue, cutscenes, and diff endings than I expected, so I just may have to end up picking up the US version eventually.
I totally agree with you on that one which is why I imported the game instead. I believe it's already been confirmed not to have japanese voices in an interview with Capcom, which is very unfortunate. A lot of the english voices I've heard don't impress me at all, and the ones that sound decent still give the characters a different feel. I'm hoping they eventually release the original voices as DLC. Other than the voice issue though, this game is absolutely amazing and addicting!
